Should designers code? Probably not, but I'm happiest when doing both. I'm interested in bridging the gap between design and engineering—particularly composable design and systems, and how we can use them to scale design efficiently.

I've been fortunate to have spent the last 12 years designing software for a diverse set of clients, ranging from startups to government. I spent 2023 with the folks at Inngest, defining their visual direction and building the initial version of their local development environment and cloud service. Before that, I led the team behind the Royal Navy's first Design System, contributing to its widespread adoption across the UK Ministry of Defence.
